A research team of specialists of cardiology, neurology and nuclear medicine studied the prevalence of migraine and its relationship with cardiac syndrome X in a two-year study, said Dr. Reza Nemati, BPUMS Neurologist.
The result of the study came into the form of student theses and was published in JACC, added Dr. Nemati.
Although the cause of cardiac syndrome X is unknown yet but we hope that there will be new approaches in better understanding and curing the disease by the proof of the theory, said Dr. Nemati.
